Hundreds of movements in the Wellbeing economy Movement of Movements
Over the past three years, I’ve identified over 300 movements working on solving this problem, from new frameworks, to organisations, to whole movements of people — there are potentially many millions of people working on their own pieces of this puzzle.
A very large number of them are some adjective in front of the word “economy.” Circular economy, solidarity economy, gift economy, etc.
I think because we intuitively know the economy is one-of-if-not-the highest leverage point for global change.
Think of these movements as all having different perspectives on how to go about change.
All have at least some insight to offer, and when we combine these perspectives and network these movements towards the same goal?
Well, that’s the game-changer for all of us.
For a look at the movements, check out the Movements page where I have begun to categorise and analyse them.
