Wealth inequality is the root issue. And there’s more we can do than taxing wealth.

I’m Friday, and this is the poor woman’s Gary’s Economics (or Barry’s Economics!) – with a twist.

Going beyond taxing the wealthy, we’re taking a deep look into solutions that are transforming the economy right now.

From platform coops giving employees a fair share, to communities coming together to end the cost of living crisis themselves through grassroots power stations and farms owned by the community, social enterprises and community wealth building working across sectors and class divides, and advances in economics, technology, science, and human cooperation across hundreds of movements and thousands of organisations.

These movements are everywhere. I’ve discovered so many that I stopped counting at 300. They’re just not on the news (yet).

This channel breaks down the economics of why they work, how wealth and power work (and how we can rewire them), AND gives you fun quests to help take this conversation mainstream.

We only need 3.5% of people building parallel systems to hit critical mass and provide both the pressure and the inspiration to create an economy where all of us thrive.
